The quirky story of anthropomorphized cells continue in this volume, with the introduction of some new characters and a look into the past of Red Blood Cell and White Blood Cell before they matured into their present selves (baby RBC is very cute!) If you enjoyed volume 1, you'll probably enjoy the adventures of RBC and WBC in this second volume!As much as I enjoy this series still, I was rather disappointed by the character design for the newly introduced Natural Killer (NK) cell. Compared to the other immune cells, who all have quite unique and detailed costumes, NK cell's design was very simple, rather disappointingly so for me. Also, the two chapter arc about cancer also didn't quite work for me. The writer wanted the reader to sympathize with the mutinous cancer cell, but that just didn't work on me and by the time I've reached the end of the arc I still don't feel much of anything for this one-shot villain. Another thing that made me give 4 instead of 5 stars is that I've begun to notice some typographical mistakes in the English translation. This series has a lot of text, so mistakes are pretty much inevitable at some point or another, but I'm still a little disappointed that the text wasn't proof read a little more carefully. Great book! Good for a kid that likes anime and medical science. They actually use true medical facts when building the plot, like how the body works and how each cell has a job, even learn about T-cell and how many kind they are, with in this fantastic world in the body.I am even reading it.
